Frequently asked questions

The things people ask most often about WynnTools.

Is WynnTools official?

No. WynnTools is fan-made and unofficial, and is not affiliated with Wynncraft, the Wynncraft Team, Mojang or Microsoft. It reads the public Wynncraft API.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no login, and the calculators run entirely in your browser. The only thing stored on your device is the last thing you searched for, so the tool can re-run it when you come back.

Why does my player lookup say 'Not found'?

The Wynncraft API only knows players who have logged into Wynncraft at least once. Check the spelling — usernames are matched exactly. If several players match a partial name, use the exact username.

Why is the guild I searched for missing?

Search by the guild's full name or its tag — both work. Tags are the short, upper-case prefix shown in-game, like AVO.

Why do the per-world counts add up to less than the total?

Players can hide which world they're on. Those players count toward the headline total but can't be placed on a specific world, so the grid adds up to fewer.

How accurate is the Skill Point Planner?

It uses the community-documented skill-point curve — the same quartic that WynnBuilder and the wiki use, topping out around 80.8% at 150 points. It tracks the game closely, but it's a model rather than the game's own code.

How does the emerald ladder work?

64 emeralds make an emerald block, 64 blocks make a liquid emerald, and 64 liquid emeralds make a stack — 262,144 emeralds in all.
